This piece was created for Warrnambool’s (CASA) Centre Against Sexual Assault Service.
The sun behind the tree represents CASA as a gathering place, shining some light into the darkness for the victims of sexual assault.The tree of people represents through building trust and connections, supporting each other, creating confidence and strength, standing strong like a tall tree.
The love heart leaves represent feeling loved and showing that people care. By providing support services such as CASA, they can make a difference in victims lives.
The circles in the lines coming out from the sun represent stepping-stones on victim’s journeys, as they take one step at a time towards healing.
The shield in the middle of the tree represents safety and protection, as CASA help their clients to feel supported in a safe environment.
