Microfibre Tea Towels - Abundance

This piece was inspired by a photo I saw of an aerial view of the Waterways of Budj Bim. The Budj Bim landscape, also known as Mount Eccles, is located in the traditional Country of the Gunditjmara people. It has one of the world’s oldest aquaculture systems. They used the abundant local volcanic rock to construct channels, weirs and dams and manipulate the water flows to trap, store and harvest Kooyang (short- finned eels). It is now World heritage listed for its cultural significance.
